Playlists
Your folders become playlists.
Connect the Google Drive or Dropbox folders your company already keeps, and they become playlists in every store. You can add your own music locally on the device too.
In-store music for shops and retail chains
Runs from one iPhone or iPad per store and plays on Sonos, AirPlay 2 and the speakers you already have.

Schedules & opening hours
Calm in the morning, livelier in the afternoon, quieter towards closing. Set the week once around your opening hours, with holidays on top.
Channels & zones
With Business, the device at the counter streams up to five channels at once, each to its own zone. Pro includes one channel.
Three ways to play
Pick one per zone, or mix them.
Every room its own sound
The iPad at the counter sends each channel to its zone, with the speakers in a zone grouped to play as one. The music lives on the device, so it keeps playing when the internet drops.
Head office
Head office sets the music up centrally and publishes once; each store picks up the change at its next sync.
Three short walks through the real portal, one thing each.
Pricing
Two ways to pay, for the same app. A single store buys LVSTR Pro in the App Store; chains and stores with zones get LVSTR for Business on an invoice.
For a single store
249SEK / month
incl. VAT · App Store price
Bought in the App Store. Cancel anytime.
Coming to the App Store
For chains, and for stores with zones
249SEK / device / monthfor the first device, down to 99 as you grow
excl. VAT · invoiced
Per device and month, invoiced. Volume pricing applies automatically, with no setup fee.
| 1st device | 249 |
|---|---|
| 2–10 devices | 199 |
| 11–40 devices | 149 |
| 41+ devices | 99 |
For example, 12 devices: 2 338 SEK a month excl. VAT — each band’s price applies to the devices in it.
The two prices are not like for like: LVSTR Pro is the App Store price including VAT, LVSTR for Business is invoiced per device excluding VAT. LVSTR Store Music is the platform and the player. It does not include rights to music or streams; the licenses for what you play are yours. The questions below explain how that works.
Questions
Playback continues on downloaded playlists and schedules. Streams automatically fall back to local music.
Only if you allow it — it’s a central setting with per-store exceptions.
Any iPhone or iPad on iOS or iPadOS 27 or later, and speakers. Most customers use a dedicated iPhone or iPad per store.
Sonos speakers, and any player that can play a stream URL. Each channel is an ordinary web radio stream (AAC over HTTP) on the store network. The hub, an iPhone or iPad, finds the Sonos rooms on the network and you tick the rooms each channel should play in; several rooms on one channel play as one group. For any other player, such as a network amplifier or VLC on a computer, the app shows the channel’s address with a QR code.
Yes. The iPhone or iPad plays straight to your speakers: over AirPlay 2 to AirPlay speakers, an Apple TV or a receiver, or with a cable from its headphone, USB-C or Lightning port to an amplifier or active speakers.
No. One iPhone or iPad per store acts as the hub, on its charger and ideally on Ethernet, and it plays on the speakers you already have.
Only to sync. Local channels travel over the store’s own network from the iPhone or iPad to the speakers. The internet brings new music and schedule changes, and the music keeps playing while it is down. Internet radio needs the internet, and falls back to a local playlist when the stream drops.
No. LVSTR Pro includes one channel. LVSTR for Business includes up to five channels per device, on every price tier.
LVSTR Pro is for a single store: bought in the App Store for 249 SEK a month including VAT, cancel anytime, with one channel and all playlists, schedules and cloud folders. LVSTR for Business is invoiced per device and month, excluding VAT, with up to five channels per device, the portal, central schedules and policies, roll-out with device management (MDM) and internet radio.
A chain of 40 stores is typically live within a week: we configure the portal, you mail each store its activation sheet.
You do, as the store operator. LVSTR Store Music is the platform and player — it does not include or grant any rights to music, recordings or streams, and we don’t review the content you play. Playing recorded music in public normally needs a license for the composition (songwriters and publishers) and one for the recording (artists and labels), usually from one or two collecting societies per country. Royalty-free or direct-licensed music needs no society license. Internet radio streams belong to their providers — check that their terms allow business use. Consumer Spotify or Apple Music accounts may not be used in stores. Each channel or zone you broadcast is a public performance in that area of the store, and you are responsible for the licenses it requires.
The principle is the same almost everywhere; the organizations differ. Some examples:
| Sweden | STIM + SAMI |
|---|---|
| Norway | TONO + Gramo |
| Denmark | Koda + Gramex |
| Finland | Teosto + Gramex |
| United Kingdom | PPL PRS (TheMusicLicence) |
| Germany | GEMA (also collects for GVL) |
| France | SACEM (also collects for SPRE) |
| United States | ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR — for the composition; recordings generally need no separate in-store license |
| Canada | SOCAN + Re:Sound |
| Australia | OneMusic Australia |
An overview, not legal advice — rules, fees and small-business exemptions vary. Check with the society in your market.
